Jay Echeverry was born in Paterson, New Jersey with parents that are from Cali, Colombia. He started his hair journey in 2018 and graduated from Paul Mitchell the school in 2019.
Jay has always had a passion for the beauty industry. He is also a makeup artist which was his first love. He loves to create beauty and make everyone feel beautiful!
